Queer Event Calendar 2007

Queer denizens of Black Rock City:

Last year the consolidated calendar of events of interest to the LGBT community and their friends was a rousing success, and led to much joy, meet-ups, hook-ups, hang-outs, and shenanigans.

It's back for 2007 and you are all invited to add to the calendar. We're going to give Google calendar a shot, and I've created a special account to let people post events to the shared calendar.

To Add Events:
Go to https://www.google.com/calendar/ and sign in to this google account:
Email: queer.event.editor@gmail.com
Password: qee123

Then use the "Create Event" button (upper left side) to spread your fertile words to the green masses.

Playa Calendar deadline this Friday

Just a little public service announcement...

If Stella is planning any events that you want in the What Where When guide, you need to add the event to the playa calendar by July 20th (this Friday). The calendar link is on the burningman website front page, or go here:

The Queer Event Calendar will be returning again this year, and should be ready for posting in a week or so.

Hooping.org has been restructured, redesigned and relaunched and I invite you all to stop by and check it out. There's more information about what's been going on posted there, and now that I'm doing this solo as well (Vera stepped down in February) I'd also like to invite you all to contribute your writing, photos, thoughts, videos and more. I know a lot of you have hoops! I welcome your talent and input in keeping this almost four-year-old world-wide community hooping project alive.

Seeking help getting our bikes to the playa.

Hello Stella!

So Turtle and I are getting ready and excited about Burning Man and
this year we're bringing our own vehicle :)

It's a great little car and as much as I'm not worried about fitting
everything in it, I'm a bit worried about overloading it
(weight-wise), especially from Reno to the playa (with all the water)...

I'm probably being overly cautious, but I'm seeking help getting our
bikes to the playa.

Does anyone have room (space and weight-wise) for 2 bikes? If
necessary, I'll be providing a universal trunk-mounted bike rack that
can carry 3 bikes.

Please let me know if you can help - thanks :)

Burning man help

Ok so if anyones knows anybody selling or needing to get rid of Burning man tickets cheaply please let me know. also I need someone who can sew to help me with some clothes. I cant pay much but I do have an aunt that works at Hancocks and gets about 40% off. Plus I can also throw in the bonus of doing make-up for any special events as a trade or I can teach you how to do some different looks.

Any help anyone can give will be appreciated.
